What is the SPF Employer Skills North Wales (ESNW) Evaluation?

Wavehill were commissioned by Coleg Cambria in March 2024 to undertake a final evaluation of the ESNW project. ESNW is funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) and aims to assist employers in Flintshire and Wrexham in identifying and addressing training needs and skills gaps. It delivers workforce development programs that existing programs (such as Apprenticeships and Personal Learning Accounts) do not cover. By providing support for essential skills, ESNW aims to enhance local economies by meeting training needs and addressing skills gaps by funding training programmes provided by Coleg Cambria. The evaluation is reviewing the effectiveness of the management and delivery processes, the outcomes and impacts achieved and the extent to which the project met its targets and objectives. This survey is with representatives of businesses that were supported by the project that will be delivered between April 2023 and November 2024.
