How we hold and process your information
Wavehill have been commissioned by Menter Môn, on behalf of the Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group, to undertake an independent evaluation of the implementation and outcomes of the LEADER programme in Gwynedd which is Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig.
As part of the evaluation this questionnaire has been distributed to the database of individuals and organisations that have been involved with a project funded by Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig.
Essentially, we are looking at how well the programme has been managed and what difference it is making in Gwynedd.
Participation in the online survey is voluntary. You can decide to not take part or can choose to not answer certain questions if you prefer.
Any personal information collected as part of the survey is kept confidential. Your answers to the survey will not be made public in a way that could lead to you or your project being identified. The information is only used for research and evaluation purposes. Wavehill will produce a report based on the data but this will not identify any individuals

1. Why is this research happening?
We are looking to speak to individuals and organisations that have been involved with a project funded by Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig to obtain feedback about the project and working with Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig.
The aim of the evaluation is to look at how well the LEADER programme has been managed and what difference it is making in Gwynedd.
2. What type of information is collected through the survey?
The survey focuses on your experience of the LEADER programme, particularly the application process, and (if applicable) what your project has achieved to date.
3. What is personal data?
Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.
Wavehill uses personal data provided by Menter Môn to facilitate this online survey, for example, your name and contact details.
4. How long will personal data be kept for?
Wavehill will hold personal data during the contract period but will delete it within three months of the end of the project.
5. What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected through the survey?
The evaluation of the LEADER programme enables Menter Môn and Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group to understand whether the programme is working effectively. It is therefore used to support activities within Gwynedd’s Council’s public task. That is, the core role and functions of the Council. For example, the information collected might be used:
To decide whether changes need to be made to the LEADER programme
To decide whether schemes like the LEADER programme should continue in the future
To understand the best ways to support organisations in Gwynedd.
The evaluation has been commissioned by Menter Môn on behalf of Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group. Your individual participation in the research is voluntary.
6. What is the purpose of processing your answers to the survey?
The data is used for research and evaluation purposes only. The data will be analysed to enable Menter Môn and Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group to understand the impact and effectiveness of the LEADER programme. This will help to decide whether any changes need to be made to LEADER programme and how support for organisations should develop in the future. The data will not be used for commercial or marketing purposes and it will not be used to take make decisions about you as an individual or your organisation.
7. Who has access to the personal data collected through the survey?
Wavehill will have a copy of the personal data to allow it to carry out the survey. They will delete personal data within three months of the end of the project.
The answers you provide will be analysed by researchers at Wavehill to produce a report for Menter Môn and Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group. This report will not identify any individuals participating in the research and the answers will not be shared with Menter Môn and Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group or anyone else outside of Wavehill. Wavehill will delete all personal data within three months of the end of the project. Menter Môn and Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig Local Action Group will not have access to personal data collected through the online survey.
