GLLM SPF Projects Evaluation - Privacy Notice

Wavehill are evaluating GLLM’s Shared Prosperity Funded projects with the aim of assessing its performance and impact.


The information gathered through this research will be used to help Wavehill evaluate the project delivery and assess the performance and impact of the project.


Wavehill will conduct a series of consultations with individuals both within GLLM and externally to broaden our understanding of the project and respond to the key evaluation questions.


The data you provide will only be used for the purposes of this evaluation. Any personal information collected as part of the evaluation is kept confidential and will not be made public in a way that could lead to you being identified.


It is also important to note that the team undertaking the evaluation do not work for GLLM or any of the organisations that are involved in the delivery or funding of this project. This is an independent evaluation.


Wavehill will delete the information you provide and all personal data relating to this evaluation within six months of the end of the evaluation.

Under the new data protection legislation, you have the right:

  • To access your personal data held by GLLM

  • To require GLLM to correct any mistakes in that data

  • To (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing

  • For (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’.

Why is this evaluation happening?

Wavehill has been appointed by GLLM to conduct a process and impact evaluation of the SPF funded projects to assess their impact.


What type of information is collected through the evaluation?

The interviews look to capture:

  • Background and context to the project;

  • Project design and rationale;

  • Alignment with other projects;

  • Implementation, management and delivery;

  • Monitoring and evaluation; and

  • Progress and initial impacts.


What is personal data?

Personal data means any information that could lead to a person being identified either alone or in combination with other widely-available information, e.g. their name, their address, or details specific to that person.


The evaluation process itself does not directly gather personal data from participants. However, it is important to note that personal information, such as contact details, may have been provided to Wavehill for the purpose of conducting said evaluation.


How long does Wavehill store data for?

Data will be stored for 6 months following the completion of the evaluation, expected in September 2025.


What is the legal basis for collecting and processing the data collected?  

Consent. This can be withdrawn at any time.


What is the purpose of processing your answers?


The data is used for improving the Wavehill evaluation team’s understanding of the project to ensure a comprehensive and robust evaluation.


Who has access to the data collected?

Only Wavehill will have access to any personal data shared with them. Personal data will be removed from any outputs generated.
