Health, Social Care & Community Safety
For many people, especially those facing multiple challenges, taking part in support is not straightforward.
Factors such as support availability, stigma and changing attitudes can shape whether people seek support and where they turn.
- Understanding how people take part and stay involved. We track how people engage with activities, programmes and support over time, showing what helps them start, stay, drop out or return, and how delivery through community partners shapes these patterns.
- Improving access and removing barriers in practice. We identify who is taking part and who is not, examining factors such as confidence, cost, location and support needs to help adapt delivery and widen participation.
- Understanding lived experience safely and meaningfully. We recognise the importance of co-produced and trauma informed approaches in helping us understand how support is experienced and its impact on different groups.
